Branson’s Nantucket Encourages Resorts to Join the Green Campaign

Branson's Nantucket agrees that the time is now for everyone to get aware of energy conservation and savings. According to Geoff Petter, Operations Manager for Branson’s Nantucket, “If companies and people alike can use environment friendly items it would certainly make an impact of helping the environment. Branson’s Nantucket has started engaging in several types of energy conservation for the benefit of all.”

“Most all of the employees of Branson’s Nantucket are currently campaigning in favor of going green and trying to show our members a new path of success so they can take some of the most energy efficient ideas home with them” stated Petter. He went on to explain, “At Branson’s Nantucket we have started building different types of homes with energy conservation utmost in our minds so we can really envelope the “Go Green” culture.”

Branson's Nantucket currently has builds new energy saving and environment friendly vacation homes. They also dominate the fractional ownership arena and as a leader in the industry they wanted to be one of the first resorts to purposely diminish the carbon footprint from their holiday homes. Branson's Nantucket also has some innovative designs they will be including in their future homes and resort to make them even more environment friendly.

One new technique includes filling their exterior walls with foam insulation which allows them to install smaller furnaces in their units. Lead constructor James Lansdale explains how they want to use these less power consuming energy efficient furnaces that will in turn save money and energy. They have also installed nature friendly windows that are filled with low-E type Argon gas to maintain the rooms’ temperature so that no heat or cold air can go through them.

Branson’s operating manager Geoff Petter recently expressed their concern about various environmental problems recently. That is why they are actively encouraging participating by all the resorts in Branson in the go green campaigns. This is just not any publicity stunt for them. Right now they are concentrating on reducing their carbon footprint. They also have installed water filter units so that there guests need not buy any bottled mineral water from outside.

Branson’s Nantucket next eco friendly move includes starting a recycle program on their property. They want to create awareness among their employees, their members and other businesses as well. Their operating manager Geoff Petter expressed that to make their effort successful and to keep the earth beautiful more people and businesses need to get involved in the go green campaigns.
