Forever Grand Vacations, the leading travel club in Branson Missouri, has often been known to help the local charities especially during the holiday seasons. This year is no exception as Eileen Most, Operations Manager for Forever Grand explained that they would be donating to several local charities including $500.00 to Branson Lodge #587 for their Christmas basket campaign. “This donation is especially close to our hearts” explained Most “as it goes directly to local families in need so it makes a huge and immediate impact in our community.”
“The Christmas Basket Delivery organized by the Freemasons for more than the last twenty years is one of the favorite charities of the employees of Forever Grand Vacations.” Most went on to speak about how helping families in their time of need especially during the holiday season. “You don’t have to look far to find people in need and helping our neighbors who are struggling in these hard economic times helps us remember the true meaning of the season.”
Forever Grand Vacations has made a wide variety of donations in the past to organizations as varied as Shriners Childrens Hospitals and Dusty Feet, an organization based in Kenya that helps orphaned street children with food and shelter. The Freemason lodge in Branson has been distributing Christmas baskets that contain a turkey, all the fixings for a traditional feast and gifts for family members including toys for boys and girls for over twenty years.
The lodge collects lists from schools, social workers and other organizations that are familiar with which families are the most in need for assistance. The food and gifts are then collected with the help of donations such as Forever Grand Vacations and brought to the Branson Lodge. At that point the ingredients for a happy holiday are packaged and delivered right before Christmas.
“The gratitude of these folks is something that just warms the heart” says Herb Terrill, Past Master of Branson Lodge #587. “What can be better than knowing helped make a happy Christmas for families that are struggling to keep the heat on and keep food on the table?”
Forever Grand Vacations holds their program previews seven days a week. The preview consists of an informative and interactive presentation that allows prospective members to fully understand the benefits of the membership, to ask all their questions, and get them answered by an experienced representative.
